Description
Original Painting:
Expanding my horizons I envisioned a space journey. Not a journey at night, more like a journey by starlight. The ‘myst’ in this piece is more representative of the excitement of a trip into the unknown. This has been likened to a ‘Star Wars’ adventure. I was simply going to San Francisco with a painting and my daughter. I grew up in and around this area and had not been near for decades. There was also a chance to strengthen what had recently been a tumultuous relationship with her. It was exciting and yet so much more. The trip was a wonderful nostalgic walk into my past and the strengthening I had hoped for. I love that each part of life can come out in a work in a way that is a little unexpected and cathartic. Acrylic on canvas with matt medium and mat finishing varnish. 30″ x 40″
Archival Prints are on Archival Paper with Archival Ink backed and bagged and ready to be framed with a 1″ white border around the artwork image.
